Beaver Valley Fall Fair

Ambassadors

The Beaver Valley Agricultural Society

Ambassador Program

The Beaver Valley Agricultural Society Ambassador Program is a very supportive program that develops youth and young adults in leadership, community engagement, networking skills, agricultural awareness and public relations. Through this experience, you will have the opportunity to establish yourself as a young leader in the community.

Fair Ambassador and Junior Fair Ambassador
Each year, the Beaver Valley Agricultural Society selects a Fair Ambassador and a Junior Fair Ambassador to represent the Agricultural Society at the Fair, and also at
events throughout the year.

Past Ambassadors have built lasting friendships, created lasting memories and developed greater confidence. The Beaver Valley Agricultural Society provides scholarships to the Ambassadors upon completion of their year-long term.

Represent our Community at the CNE
In recognition for completing the term, the Fair Ambassador receives a $500 bursary and the Junior Ambassador receives a $200 bursary. In addition, the Fair Ambassador will have the opportunity to represent the community and the Agricultural Society at the CNE Ambassadors of the Fairs Competition in August 2025.

Registration Deadline: August 28, 2024
Competition Date: September 4, 2024 5:30pm

To register: Complete an application form and submit to Kelly Ward at kbccward@gmail.com

Meet our 2024 Junior Ambassador

Cassie Ward

I’m Cassie Ward. I am the Jr. Ambassador for the Beaver Valley Fair for 2023-2024. I’m 17 years old and I live on a farm just outside of Meaford. I’m in an Agricultural High Skills Major with my school and have interest in Agricultural business. I love meeting fellow farmers and members of this amazing community through my time as Ambassador.

Throughout the year, I was excited to represent the Agricultural Society at events in the community. I attended OAAS regional events as well as being invited to tour Ice River Springs with other Fair Ambassadors. I continued with attending local events such as the remembrance wreath laying, the Girl Guides Thinking Tea and the Old Fashioned Christmas and so many more amazing events.

I’m so grateful for all the support and help this year and will forever be thankful for this opportunity to join the Ag society. I hope to see everyone at the fair!
