Work can be in any medium but must be stable and easily exhibited on the floor, a table, or a wall (framed or unframed with hangers / magnets / butterfly clips). Please submit work with the following information: date, medium, size (height, width, depth in cm) and a 150 word MAX explanatory statement.

Your best smartphone selfie! Submit a 5X7 digital print of your best selfie and state why in your statement.

    1. TRAVEL POSTER

In a poster format – max 46 X 61 cm – advertise why Beaver Valley is a destination! Explain why in your statement.

    1. LOGO

Create a fresh new logo for the Beaver Valley Fall Fair, Blue Mountain, Thornbury, Clarksburg or Georgian Bay on par with some of the most famous Canadian logos: CBC, VIA Rail, Tim Hortons, CN Rail. Your statement should explain the power of your design.

    1. COAT OF ARMS

If your community had a Coat of Arms, what should it be? Draw your Coat of Arms according to the rules: it’s a heraldic visual design on an escutcheon (i.e., shield). The coat of arms on an escutcheon forms the central element of the full heraldic achievement which in its whole consists of shield, supporters, crest, and motto. Explain why your Coat of Arms is a community inspiration?

Is your favourite place to sit in your living room or on top of Blue Mountain? In any medium, capture your view and share it with a statement.
